We purchased a split AC almost a year back on "7th May" from the Croma Store at Jubilee hills, Hyderabad and the product is lying as though new. From day 1 it has been giving problem and we have called for the technicians 4-5 times already. Everytime the technicians come they are unable to detect any problem so they fill gas and go. The AC works for 2 days or so and agains stops working. In October when we asked the store to change the AC, the technician came and moved the outdoor AC compressor closer to the indoor unit and filled more gas. Everytime they come we are made to pay extra for the gas, the pipeline etc and the worst is that it takes weeks before the technician finally shows up at our place. We have to make several calls, even visit the showroom and talk to the manager before some action is taken. The Croma Call Centres are equally useless. No one is willing to attend to the customer since the product has already been paid for. I finally got disgusted and gave a complain on the Croma website this time about 4 days back. The technician came and checked as usual, said there is a gas leak problem which is obvious and is gone. Since then I have been calling some "n" no. of managers to get a permanant resolution to this solution. All they say is that we have to refill gas again and pay for it.
Please tell me that its not even a year and we have filled gas 4-5 times already and still the AC does not work, no one I have spoken to in the company wants to repair it or change it. Despite speaking to several Croma managers no one from the management has got back to us... Be it Mr. Kiran, Mr. Madhushekhar or Mr. Prashant.
I request consumer complaint board to help us with this issue.
