I had bought an Electrolux Semi Automatic Washing Machine Model Fabriguard Classic Plus EWS 70 on 30th June.
Its dryer lid got broken. I registered the complaint on their Service Helpline on 21st Aug.. the complaint No. is MUM 2209100416. After many follow ups their engineer comes just to say that the dryer lid would be replaced within a week and takes his charge of Rs. 280/-
I followed up with them every week... asking the status of the part. It was told to me, the complaint would be sorted out very soon. I finally got in touch with their Sr. Supervisor Mr. Sameen, who also reassured me that he would personlly look into the matter and get it resolved. Today when again I call him up, he says, that the machine is obsolete and Electrolux has stopped producing the machine or its spare parts.
I ask for my refund of the service charge that they have taken from me as nothing has been done to resolve my complaint. What kind of a BULLSHIT company is this... a money minting company, that outdates its products within 3 years??? So that the customer is left stranded midway and has no choice but to dispose off the machine...
I want the part to be replaced or machine be exchanged... for a new one by Electrolux. Or else I would be left with no option but to move Consumer court and do negative publicity of the company, its product and after sale service by means of distributing pamphelets and getting the complaint of such a High handed behaviour of the Company in Newspaper.
