Poor Customer Service & Now no SIM working in the handset

I have faced a lot of problem since I have purchased this FLY MC160. Now there is a new issue that any SIM is not working in this handset fist my BSNL SIM stopped working and now Vodafone Customer Care executive called me and set that your SIM will stop working form 8th of Feb 10 and also no other SIM will work in it as its IMEI is not correct. And I should contact the vendor for correct IMEI. I think i have done a big mistake by purchasing this handset. What should i do now???

(Harassed with the service of One Mobile and FLY (False Commitment)

I purchased a Dual SIM mobile FLY MC160 from One Mobile Store in BIG BAZAR in Shahdara (011-22101211). Although I liked the DC200 Model but the sales person instead that I should purchase MC160 which is a newly launched model of FLY for Rs 5500/- with cash back of Rs. 100/-. I told him that I am not comfortable with the touch screen phones but he said that I can use it otherwise also if I don’t to use touch screen and he also told that he will replace the mobile set in 48 hours if there is any problem with it. So, I purchased it on 25/12/09 Invoice No. 2110203006 evening as I had to stay in Delhi for two more days and I can replace it if there is any problem. Now I was using it and checking all functions on Sunday i.e. 27/12/09 I went to purchase a memory card from your another shop in Vishwas Nagar after the memory card was installed by the sales person the mobile did not started he tried many times after removing memory card also but nothing happened. Then he said that maybe it is not charged although I charged it for 2 hours but I still went home and tried to charge it and ON the mobile but it did not worked. Then I went to the One Mobile Store in BIG BAZAR and told the problem, there also the sales person tried everything but nothing worked. Now I asked him to change the mobile as promised. He said that we will replace it but first you have to bring DOC from service center. I said if I have to go to the service center then what’s so different from other brands there also the problem is sorted through service center and what about the replacement offer of 48 hours. He could have refused me if set was physically damaged but it was not rather it stopped working on your store’s counter itself. I asked him to replace as I had to go back home Hisar (Haryana) i.e. 200 Km from Delhi but he said that I have to get the DOC from service center. So, I went to the service center in Luxmi Nagar with my uncle but there they refused to give the DOC and said that we have to take the permission of DOC through mail from higher office after checking the set. He said that “why have you come to take the DOC”, “you should have taken the new set from the store and they could have taken the DOC themselves”. Now I talked to the sales person at One Mobile Store in BIG BAZAR then service center said him that we are giving job card to the customer and you give the new hand set on this basis and take the DOC from us later to which he agreed and asked me to come back. When I reached the Store sales person started talking to his seniors and also to FLY mobile. He told me that he cannot give new handset without DOC. Some Area Sales Manager from BIG BAZAR was also there. I requested them that I am getting late as I have to go very far and it will be difficult and unsafe to drive I night but he said I could take another one or two days. That time is was thinking that I have done a big mistake by purchasing FLY Mobile and that too from One Mobile Store in BIG BAZAR. Over 4 hours I and my uncle were standing there waiting for some solution. At last after getting some assurance of getting DOC from somebody the Manager told to replace the mobile or buy any other of similar or higher cost. Which I did not wanted I wanted my money back after such a long drama. But in the end I have come back with the replaced (FLY MC160) again. I had to drive back home in the night and I also met an accident which damaged my car’s front TYRE and RIM thank god that me and my family were safe.

After all this I am totally harassed with the service of One Mobile and FLY. Also the mobile was sold to me for Rs 5400/- where as your website shows the price of same set as Rs 5250/-. It’s strange to see such a bad service commitment and variation of Prices from Big Brands like you. All these things lead to customer dissatisfaction and affect your Brand Image. Like I have decided that I will never step into One Mobile/Fly or recommend any body.
