I bought a GODREJ FULLY AUTOMATIC WASHING MACHINE (GWF-580A, Sl no: 100605333) on 4-Aug. But the new machine is having one or the other problem since day one. I have listed the complete list of events from Day #1.
4-Aug :- New machine GWF-580A, bearing Sl no: 100605333 delivered from GUGLIYA ENTERPRISES, #855, NARAYANA SHASTRI NAGAR, K.R. MOHALLA, MYSORE - 570 024 PH: 0821-4256116). Bill / invoice no: GJ603 dated 4-8.
6-Aug :- Key board found to be faulty with the keys sagging and the keypad gradually cracking. Hardly able to know if the key is pressed or not. Complained to the GUGLIYA ENTERPRISES.
7-Aug :- Key board replaced by GUGLIYA ENTERPRISES installation personnel.
14-Aug :- Machine making screeching noise while starting the WASH and SPIN cycles, occasionally. There appears to be small burnig smell along with the screching noise, which indicates some friction inside. The washing basket is tilted towards the Key board side. Complaint lodged no: 811615
16-Aug :- Complaint no: 811615 was attended by one technician, who adjusted almost every screw of the machine after opening the back and bottom sides, and re-balanced the machine with the floor. After two hours of trial and error, the noise appeared to have gone in the SPIN cycle. But the basket was now fully tilted and touching the key board side. Technician asked to observe and re-complaint, if the problem appears in the full cycle.
17-Aug :- Machine making screeching noise while starting the WASH and SPIN cycles occasionally. New complaint lodged no: 812598
18-Aug :- Complaint lodged no: 812598. was attended by one technician, who interchanged the hangers and re-balanced the machine with the floor. Technician indicated that the machine needs to be taken his service centre, and some one will come and pick the machine later in the day. Nobody comes for machine collection on 18th or 19th. An SMS is received on 20-Aug, indicating the complaint is serviced satisfactorily and the complaint is closed. Please note that the service card was not signed by anyone of us, and still the complaint was closed.
20-Aug :- New complaint lodged no: 814106.
21-Aug :- One Technician (who came for 811615) indicates that the machine needs to be taken his service centre, and some one will come and pick the machine later in the day. Machine is collected on 21st.
25-Aug :- The machine is given back without repair, with all the earlier problems still present and the status UNCHANGED.
25-Aug :- New complaint lodged no: 816423.
There appears to be some friction which will wear out the inside parts and prevent it from having a long life. The way the basket is tilted, there appears to be a serious problem, and I want a replacement for the machine.
Any idea if anyone else has got a replacement and how to proceed further?
