Godrej NAV TAL lock, 7 Lever
Single key can be used for multiple locks

Hi,

I have purchased 7 locks (GODREJ, NAV TAL) of Rs 400 each from a local stationery shop with bill (having stamp of that shop) an week back. I have a blind faith on the brand Godrej, so expense Rs 400 each for security purpose. Unfortunately I found following problems

i) Same number printed on the multiple locks/keys

ii) With a single key, multiple locks can be opened.

Immediately I rush to that shop and complaint against the lock and returned him back. The shop assured me that he will do the needful.

After 3 days I went to that shop to enquire about the status, but he replied differently and asked me that he is not bound to give me back the new locks or will not refund the money..So we have to take the insecured locks from him.

Please let me know what to do at this moment.
