Dear Sir, I am a Sinior Citizen and a retired Civil Servent. I purchased a 1.5 tonne split LG unit thru Gupta Enterprises, Main Road, Newr Udyog Vihar, Phase 1, Dundahera, Gurgaon. One "Shri Gupta" who is the owner of "Gupta Enterprises" claimed to be an agent of LG Company. At the time of installation his mechanics/ fitters charged extra for water pipe drainage from the external unit and asked me to provide with a 15 Amp plug. In addition they did not drill a whole for the pipe through the wall but used the wall window ment for window type airconditioner leaving it permanently open. The a/c was switched on for about five minutes after installation. On during first usage on 30 March a noise was noticed and traced to the fan unit outside. Accodingly next day a report was lodged with sri gupta. After repeated reminders he finally sent a representative on 8/9 April. That evening the noise increased even more. The unit has still not been attended to after that despite repeated reminders. Finally today I lodged a report with LG Service Center. This, when Shri Gupta conveyed a message that niether he nor any of his workers would be able to come. The business of Shri Gupta is operating on a Fraudulant Representation and should be proceeded against. And my airconditioner should be repaired immediately.
