I have purchased a LG split A/c 1.5 ton on 11.03. model LSA5AB5VT1. After installation i requested LG technical support/service dept for to give demo as well as the operation of the remote control provided along with the AC, As per me the AC was not running smoothly as it did not cool the room efficiently and the room temperature not coming down below 26 degree even after running continuously for 8-9 hrs. After that I kept quite as we r not fully aware that the operation of the AC is up to the mark or not or it may be some of my fault, not to operate well or installed wrong model. Now again I realized that the Ac is working in-efficiently because there was no service done after installation. The A/C is just 3 months old and I don’t know, how to go about of this, but I am afraid of the extent of it and I have purchased the A/C at Rs.27000 1500 installation charge which is huge investment for me and I didn’t even know how to operate the Ac efficiently and get the out put without any trouble. After registering my problem/complaint of split AC, your service Engineer visted on dated 29/6/10, after 6 days. The observations are under-
1. The temperature at the opening of AC is about 18 degree c even after 2 hrs run and it is not coming down. Engineer says it should be 12 degree c.
2. The inside room temperature is not coming down to 27 degree even fater run of 4 hrs.
3. The engineer has checked the outer and inner case, as per him there is some blockage of gas inside, so the cooling is not effective.
4. He has done some repair, but after repair the AC could not run effectively and the condition is worsed than before as the temperature is not coming down below 30 degree even after AC running whole night.
5. He has no concrete solution for the same and advise us to contact the customer service for checking the gas leakages/blocking inside the condenser of the AC.
LG has a slogan- Life is Good, But after purchasing such a costly AC and invest huge money, my life is bad now.
Could you please suggest me what to be done now. I m very much thankful to u if u please solve my problem as early as possible, as i m totally tensify to get the faulty product from LG which is not beleavable till date.
