On 22nd Jan, our Hitachi refrigerator stopped functioning. Immediately we informed the dealer (CROMA, CBC Belapur) & Hitachi Service Center (Mumbai).
Hitachi service engineer came on 29th January, after repeated calls made to service center.
He said the compressor needed to be replaced (under warranty).
After 2 days or so, service center informed us that we shall have to pay extra for refilling of gas (rs5500) & transport charges of gas kit to our home
We spoke to the dealer about this & later we agreed (on 2nd Feb)
Today, on 7th Feb service center informed us that they cannot repair the refrigerator at our home and will take it to their service center.
We are under great inconvenience for last 17 days having to run the house without a fridge. The service center has failed to provide proper answers, leave aside proper service
Kindly suggest what steps can we take now.
