I have faced such trouble from Hitachi and am still facing it. I bought a Hitachi AC on the 1st of may. After 2 days i was told that i have to register a request for installation on my own. I registered a request on the 4th of may, and i too was told that the AC would be installed in 48-72hrs.

But its been 7 days now, and still no response, even after repeated calls. All the executives have to say the same thing that 'I have forwarded your request, and I can't do anything beyond this'.
I was given the service center numbers from where my AC will be installed, but nobody answers the phone.
I am very disappointed with Hitachi, even without using the product.
No use spending extra on such a brand, as compared to other cheaper brands, when you cant even use the product for so long!!
The AC is lying in my room for so long, and my window is open since 10days, as i got my earlier AC removed.
