I had purchased a 2 ton split AC last year which was to be serviced free of cost this year under the warranty terms of the appliance.
However it has been a nightmare to get the AC serviced from Hitachi.
Initially a request was put in on 14th April for the service.
We have put in at least 20 reminders by calling up their All India Customer Care Centre
but to no avail.
The local number at Noida given to us never gets picked up - on top of it
the local number of the Area Service Head also gets the same response.
Clearly, these companies which charge through the roof for their products
do not care for their customers - the entire service team from the All India Head
down to the service engineer sleep in AC comfort while the customer who has paid
for the products sweats it out in the summer heat of Delhi at 44 C
The only solution is to stop buying these products from HITACHI and such other Japanese
Companies.
