I bought a Hiatchi split AC from Vijay Sales. Problem with Hitachi started from day one, when their engineers came to install the AC. There was a difference in installation price quoted by Vijay Sales and what Hitachi engineers demanded. I was harassed because of the communication gap between the dealer and Hitachi. The company is required to send someone for a demonstration however no one came for the same in-spite of repeated reminders.
The company engineers did the faulty installation and AC has not even worked for a single day. My complaint has remained unattended now for close to a month. I was planning to buy a Hitachi refrigerator but the poor experience has made me changed my mind. As now I realize just a good brand name or superior product features is not enough, after sales services is the most important element.
