It’s a sad and frustrating experience to me and my family when both the Hitachi 1.5 ton ACs broke down with three months of the purchase date. The first AC was taken to the service center and I had to pay Rs. 1800 for the gas refilling inspite of being within the warranty period. I was told that somebody has used drill machine on the AC while installation. I fail to understand that why should I be charged for a fault due to poor installation.
Within few days the second AC broke down and now I am being told that the gas has leaked out and the machine has to be taken to the service center. Is this a common problem with Hitachi ACs? Did I make a wrong choice of trusting the most reliable and largest manufacturers of ACs?
I want a replacement for both the ACs failing which I will lodge a complaint in the consumer court. The two ACs that I bought were from Razzle Dazzle, Delhi model number RAV418ERD and serial number s 110A39908/110A37386 purchase on 26 March.
