I complained IFB last week about the malfunctioning of the washing machine. They promised to come and fix the problem by last Friday. Nobody from IFB contacted us until Monday. Due to the urgency of the situation, we only contacted IFB customer care and requested for immediate attention. Finally, a rude technician showed up on Monday night who only diagnosed the issue and told us that he had to come back yesterday with the parts (belts to be precise) to fix it. He promised that at any cost, he would show up before 11 am.By the time he arrived, it was past 1 pm. Now, he had another version of story. He mentioned that mere fixing of the belts wouldnt suffice and he had to get some welding done for which the drum of washing machine had to be taken out somewhere outside and brought back and then fix it. Today, 2 guys came in (one was the same rude guy and the other person was even more worser) and have ruthlessly spoilt the walls of my house while meddling with the washing machine. When questioned about the unprofessional way they were handling, the worser guy of the 2 has verbally abused my wife and left. Especially, when my wife alone was at home and she having faced this situation with these 2 guys, anything could have happened. This shows what kind of support staff IFB has with them. We have spoken with several people at IFB customer care since last week (regarding the service) and so far, we have been receiving only worser treatment from their staff. I am amazed at the apathy shown by IFB towards its customers. I am in Bangalore and can be reached at 98863-96138 and I will give complete details about the whole incident. I hope somebody from IFB will bother to see this complaint and respond favorably.
