I approached Planet Telecom on 18-Feb to check about Iphone screen repair services. I accepted the repair cost and asked them to proceed with the approximate cost of Rs 9000 to Rs 10000. The service warranty for this was 15 days. I decided not to proceed on 25th Feb and called them to convey the same but no one responded. I called back again on 26th Feb again to receive no response and so ultimately visited the store and spoke with Mr Anand offering him to pay the Rs 350 as charge for opening the handset. He insisted that he will bear loss now as he has already paid advance to the person from whom he ordered the part. He also refused to return me my phone. I then told him to intimate me before he carries out any repair as well as check with vendor if he can cancel the order. But he did not call me and when I checked 4 days later, he has asked me to pay Rs9350 and pick up the repaired phone. The warranty on service as well as part is still 15 days. This firm has good reviews on just dial but I find it hard to believe those reviews after their conversation to me. I would not recommend availing service from them.
