A complaint was loded with IFB for malfunctioning of washing machine. (Clothes get torn). The engineer came and noticed that in addition to replacement of drum, the entire cabinet has to be replaced and we have to pay Rs.3500/- for the part. We agreed to pay the amount. But more than 15 days, the complaint was not resolved. Their response is very poor. Every day we make call to the dealer and IFB - the standard reply is "will be resolved in two days.". It is also observed that many of their technicians do not possess the required knowledge in dealing with machines.
