So much so for IFB services!!!
Can someone in IFB tell me why anyone should buy an IFB product or take an AMC???
It is extremely disappointing that IFB with all its tall claims of a world class product has the most pathetic after sales services I have ever experinced.
I have a washing machine Model T-29 which is under AMC. I had booked a call on the 4th May at 8 am for a fault in the washing machine. Being a technical person myself had clearly enunciated the problem & the need for replacement of the water pump as the water was not getting drained at the end of the washing cycle.
Lilttle did I realize that my tale of woe had begun. I have had similar experinces earlier with IFB service too but decidde to take the bulll by the horns this time.

I had especially left instructions for the call to be attended after 5pm & urgently. I somehow managed to speak to the elusive franchisee Mr. Joginder Singh on 93128846920 who very bluntly warned me that he had no pumps in stock & that IFB had not sent him any inspite of raisng a request almost ten days back.
I happen to speak to your so called branch coordinator Geetanjali on 30889678 at the Okhla office and expressed my concern. I was assured that she would get back to me after speaking with the franchisee which she never did,
I somehow managed to get through to her again & expressed my concern at having no revert. I was told that she was unable to conncet to the franchisee!!! &WOW ..What a coordinator!!!
All my attempts to contact Sona the other coordinator on 26372486 were in vain.
The following day inspite of reminding the franchisee about the time specified for attending to the complain the technician arrived around 12.30pm. Sine no one was available at home we had to request our neighbours to attend to it. (..IFB is so considerate!!!)
The technician opened up the washing machine & declared the water pump defunct which had already been conveyed. The technician left with the machine open right in the middle of the kitchen with the assurance of returning with the part on the 7th May.
On contacting them again on the 7th May I was told that the part is not available & I would have to wait. On being told that the machine was lying open, I was informed that they would come & assemble it immediately whicjh thet never did.
I tried the whole day to get in touch with your so called branch coordinators namely Ms Geetanjali & Soma on 30889678 & 26372486 but to no avail.
Exasperated & disgusted I somehow managed to get hold of Mr Mathur, IFB Branch Manager & expressed my utter disgust over the kind of services being provided. He assured me that it would be attended to immediately which unfortunately never happened.
All my details were SMSed to him. Efforts to contact him thereafter were futile.
