NON RECEIPT OF GIFT ITEM - ACCORD FIXED WIRELESS GSM PHONE

Dear Sir/Madam

I have subscribed for India Today Hindi for the period from 01 Nov to 2013 for three years for a sum of Rs 2340/-. Also Company offered a Fixed Wireless GSM Phone of ACCORD COMPANY if anyone opt for THREE YEARS Subscription.

I am getting my subscription in time on my Army Address. But I have not been provided by my Free Gift as promised by the Company (INDIA TODAY). I have reqeusted several times (some emails attached in this complaint) but nothing was done by them.

On 14 Dec WECARE TODAY intimate me that they have already sent me EPP (Express Parcel Post) No 1/126409 on 01-11 later told me 20-10. But I have not received the same. When I contacted and intimate that nothing has been received by me then they advised me that you should sent one letter through your post office that this parcel has not been received by me.

Postmaster of Army Post Office, politely refused to write to them, because he has not received such type of parcel in his post office. Also advised that INDIA TODAY should lodge the complaint in Post Office Channel for lost of Parcel, then he will reply.

But India Today (WECARE) is not hearing till date. You are requested to intimate them to provide my gift item as promised by them in advertisement by REGD PARCEL POST. They are not giving any response of my complaint till date.

1. Please ref my teleconversation with WECARE Executive on 14 Dec and I have sent one fax also in this regard that I HAVE NOT RECIEPT MY GIFT OF "ACCORD FIXED WIRELESS GSM PHONE"

2. Postmaster of our Army Post Office politely refused for comment of your dispatching of EPP 1/126409 of 01-11. He also intimated to confirm you that a COMPLAINT SHOULD BE LODGED BY WECARE TO FIND OUT THE DEFAULTER AND ALSO REQUEST MANUFACTURE COMPANY TO BLOCK MDN/FDN (Equivalent to IMEI No) for disable the equipment.

3. You are requested to Dispatch my Gift at the earliest, however your staff is also in question, because I am geting my subscription on my postal address in time, why the GIFT ITEM has not been received, inspite of all efforts and intimation given to you?

4. I want my item as advertised by you and I have made a payment of Rs 2340/- for it. I am feeling there are many deficiencies in your service. Also your customer care department is fulfilling the requirement of Customers.

5. If you dont want to provide ACCORD FIXED WIRELESS GSM PHONE to me then intimate me, So I could contact to higher authorities for suitable action please.

As mentioned you have dispatched gift vide EPP No 1/126409 on 01 Nov. But till date I have not received the same, please investigate the matter and forward the gift to me at the earliest as promise through your advertisements, before filing the complaint with higher officials.

Hope you will take necessary action within this week. I will submit my complaint on 13 December to all concerned including higher officials.

My banker already paid Rs 2340/- for the entire subscription. I have paid full amount for full services, which are required to be completed by you only.
