Bigbazar/maharaja wet grinder
Not giving product after its billed

25/01 being a sale offer day of Bigbazar, we didn"t get maharaja wet grinder which we purchased gift-wrapped. Since the occasion for gifting was 27/01, we agreed to what the salesmen said as to collect it gift-wrapped on that day. When we went at 5.50pm on 27/01, we approached the same salesmen;he said its sold off to some other customer, & since no other piece of that brand being there he told us to take another brand Mayura, which we haven't heard of. Since the function was at 7 pm, we thought of getting elgi or usha, for which some senior person who came was not budging. After creating trouble on that floor, they said they 'll get the same brand from a nearby bigbazar in 10 minutes for which they need the bill. The time being 7pm, the evening being spoiled, we threatened them of complaining to C onsumer Protection Council. Then we asked customer care desk- a dark fat guy to return the bill to us. There we saw their sarcasm, when he asked, 'Did u give the bill to me? ". Furious were we by then, started educating them on Customer Care.By then the product reached gift wrapping table &we continued to ask for the bill. That time one fellow who introduced himself as operations head named sreemoorthy came to the scene and told us to get the clearance bill as on 27-01. We persisted for the previous dated bill. After all four of us loosing our temper and argument, they returned the bill. The situation was so harrassing and disrespectful to a team of 25 esteemed faculties of a prestigious B-school who were involved in this gift purchase. Sorry to say Mr. Biyani, your empire is "sinking titanic". Inconvenience due to the delay resulted in missing the function, terrible tension headache and spoiling the mood of the evening. Please rewrite your own philosophy as you mentioned in "It Happened in India" as "Rewrite rules, retain values"****. We regret for having purchased, read and quoted Biyani's book.
