Intex Headphone
Product not working properly

I had bought an intex headphone for Rs.280/- from M/S Tarun Book Store, Shopping Complex, IIT Kanpur, Kalyanpur, Uttar Pradesh -208016.

Just after a day of its purchase its right ear stopped working. When I approached the shopkeeper he plainly said that he can't do anything as it was not under warraty. This is absolutely unfair as a product of such worth must have some durability. How can I pay Rs.280 for using headphonesfor a day!
