I receiving a Kent Water Purifier as a Wedding present 2 months back. But from the time of installation it has not worked. The customer service is pathetic and shows total apathy to grievances. First it was a problem in the valve, then filter problem. Every time the engineer mentioned that since it was not purchased by a local dealer but from another city you have to pay for the service even though the machine is within warranty period. When I escalated the matter to the regional manager after a month an engineer was sent to fix the issue. Within 2 days the machine again stopped working and now I am told its a motor problem. I am again asked to pay for the new motor Rs 1500. I have spent so much money on the machine and and calling different people in Kent that I have lost hope and left the machine as it is. Its a mere show piece in my kitchen as a replacement would be another struggle.
