As a loyal customer we went to Kings Electronics Nerul to check out some good LCD TV. (We had earlier bought Panasonic 330 ltrs refrigerator and LG washing machine.)
This time we liked Samsung LCD 46 inches and placed a order. We paid a downpayment of approx 7500 and other amount to be processed via Bajaj finance. Filled in the forms and completed the process. We were sure of buying it.
Next day, due to some family medical emergencies we had to cancel the order and were not able to meet the monthly EMIs thereafter. In this view, we appraoched the store manager (this is a fat guy who heads the store). We inquired at Bajaj finance counter whether the file was sent for processing and he said it wasn't as they would require a blak cheque and bank details to process the ECS for monthly EMIs. After informing this to this store manager, he showed his apprehensions and from there onwards starting giving us various excuses on not returning the money which we had paod as a dowpayment. He says, we had bought the equipmet already for you. We also told him that the equipment was already in store as conformed by your employee while selecting the TV.
We were abruptly charged 1900 rupees to cancel the order!! He literally made us run around for 5 days. Today again he says, he will give the cheque only after we pay him cancellation charges.
I wonder, in this world of customer service, due to such poor management they happen to lose the business for existing as well as future customers.
We have registered a police complaint for this dealer who has been harrassing us mentally and has held our money.
Had he treated us well, we would have purchased that TV and many more appliances from this dealer.
Feel sorry for Kings Electronics for not knowig that they have such poor customer service executives & the store manager who just want to see how much they collect at the end of the day!!
