WATER GETTING COLLECTED INSIDE THE FRIDGE AND ON THE DOORS

Sir,

I lodged this complaint on 8th of july ' 09 but i think it didnot go through.

I purchased the above mentioned fridge with model no: ERL 245 FF from M/s Kings Electronics, Panvel, Navi Mumbai vide invoice no: RO691 dated 07/06.

In the last few days of august I found the cooling is not proper and contacted M/s Kings Electronics and lodged the complaint.

M/s Kings Electronics forwarded the complaint to M/s Tekcare India Pvt. Ltd. Panvel and Mr. Ajaz attended it on 1st. Nov ' 08 and changed the timer at the cost of Rs.800 with service charge of Rs. 200.

Again in late May it developed problem and I lodged a complaint with M/s Kings Electronics. Mr Rabbani Of M/s Tekcare India Pvt. Ltd.visited on 4th of June ' 09 and took the fridge to their workshop for filling gas On june 6th he returned the fridge with condenser mesh fixed at the back of the fridge. He informed that there was gas leakage and it couldnot be repaired so he put the condenser at the back.

With the mesh fixed at the back the frigde became the old typed which I exchanged (though the old fridge had no problem) just for the asthetic look for a clean new fridge with no clumsy wire mesh at the back..So the purpose is lost.

After the fridge was switched on, tremendous heat was generated and the containers and walls of the kitchen became very hot and the cooling was also not proper. We contacted M/s Kings Electronics, they informed that it will take some time to become normal. It took 3-4 days to become normal. It cost me Rs.2500.00

But later on I found water getting collected inside the fridge and on the doors, contacted M/s Kings Electronics and lodged complaint no: 17GFR006. It may be 2-3 weeks since i lodged the complaint but no one turned up. One week back I received a call about the fridge, asking me when they should come for checking. As the next day was sunday I asked them to come after 11am on that sunday but no one turned up.

As I was busy with office job I could not follow up regularly. But on 7th. of aug. when I called M/s Kings Electronics about the status of my complaint they informed me that it was closed. When I asked why, they informed that the technicians came three times but found the house locked thats why it was closed. I asked to revive the complaint as the job was not done and nobody attended the complaint.

On 8th one technician turned up at around 4 pm and after checking informed me on telephone (as I was away in my office) that the drain line got chocked, so he cleaned it and there will be no water accumulation inside the fridge. When I got back my wife told me that the technician put some piece of paper also at the base of the fridge to tilt it backside. My wife put water in the ice trays of the fridger at around 4.30 pm after the technician corrected the problem but till 9th, (th) morning no ice formed.

Again I called M/s Kings and they sent two technicians last sunday at 7pm. After checking they told that they will sent their report to the company and didnot do any job in the fridge.

Till this morning no ice formed in the ice trays.

I WOULD REQUEST M/S ELECTROLUX TO PLEASE REPLACE THIS FRIDGE AT THE EARLIEST.
