I had bought a 26 inch LCD TV on 22nd July.
Model – 26LC2R-TJ
Serial Number – 702SRJW1U892
Being from the IT industry I understand the value of warranty and I extended the warranty for three years.

End Date – 11th Dec
Suddenly in February we discovered that there was a thin blue line at the middle of the screen, and I immediately raised a complaint against it.
Complaint number – CI 1020102661
I have been following up with LG for more than two and half months now and always received improper answers.
Today morning I received a call from the service center and the lady told me that I will get 55 % of the cost back…
What is this? what kind of service is this?
what is the significance of the warranty that I extended?
If LG has stopped production of that model its LG’s problem, and not mine.
In that case you should have recommended me not to extend the AMC contract…. Why did I unnecessarily pay money for something that is not adding any value?
