Pathetic Service attitude

My LG Split AC remote is not working. I called the toll free number they asked me to contact the local LG service centre to repair the remote or buy a new one. The person also advised me that I can visit the service centre to avoid the service charges and I need to pay only the cost of the remote. I called the LG service center in Sahid Nagar Bhubaneswar and went there with my defective remote. They accepted the defective remote for repair and promised to complete the job by next day. The next day, i went there again as per the promised time, but even after waiting for 30 mins, they could not advise me on the status of the repair... reason the person (Anand) who accepted the remote from me was not in. After that I have been calling them everyday and sometime 3 - 4 times a day to follow up on the repair status, but they just keep on promising next day. After I pushed very hard, Mr Anand agreed to send a new remote or the repaired remote on the 5th day. But even after that and after another 5 calls from me, finally the serviceman arrived with a remote. My goodness... he did not even check if that remote was working. that was a dead remote and the was asked by Mr Anand to collect Rs.643. Rs 202 for the remote and Rs 441 for the service charge. First of all, as advised by LG, I drove to the service centre to avoid the service charge... secondly; they sent the remote after 20 odd follow up calls from me and now Rs 441/- for delivering the remote??? Is this the way reputed company like LG want to make money??
