I purchased a 32 inches LCD TV at Dubai, about 2.5 years back and brought it back to India while migrating back. The TV stpped working about 2 months back. On registering a complaint, I was informed that the particular part was not available and that I woudl be compensated on a proportionate basis. I was asked to provide the Invoice whichw as done. However, after that I was informed that I was ineleigible as I had purchaed the TV from Dubai. I was surprised by the answer, when dealing with a global brand.
I promptly purchases samsung as my next TV as I could no longer rely on LG for either product quality of the brand or for comitment to support when required.
