Poor Service

Hi There,

We are facing grave inconvenience just to get our LG Washing machine repaired. The initial call that we made was on 23rd August and today (6th Sept) there is still NO progress on the faulty part that was identified by the engineer on 24th August.

The details of the follow up are as follows:

Tuesday, 23rd August:

Our Washing machine suddenly stopped working. I immediately dialled LG Customer care No. 18001809999. Got connected to one of the agent after 13-14 minutes or so. I registered complain and was assured that an engineer will visit within 24 hours after taking an appointment. I requested the agent that I want machine to be cleaned, they said it will done by engineer.

Wednesday, 24 august

Engineer did come but without making any call. Anyways he checked the machine and said repairs cannot be made and part need to be replaced and it’ll take maximum two days. And by Saturday that is 27th August it’ll be done. As far as cleaning of machine is concerned he rudely said it is not our work. So, here I would like to know whom shall we contact for this service.

Engineer took Rs 331 as service charge.

Friday, 26th August

After calling him for 5-6 times, he finally answered the call and said he has no information, hence he gave me number of Pune Service Centre No. 912040149427.

Now we have to dial this number at least 25-30 times in order to talk to a human being; otherwise only machine sound comes which says NO RESPONSE or NUMBER BUSY.

Anyways the customer service representative who picked the call said that part will be sent from Noida, so by Monday it’ll be done.

Monday, 29th August to Thursday 1st September

Made numerous phone calls to the numbers which I had. Guess what got no response.

Friday, 2nd September

Called LG Customer Care number to my surprised I was told that the part has been delivered at Pune Office and engineer will come fix it today. And commitment was given to me.

But again there was NO communication what so ever from LG.

Saturday, 3rd September

Called LG customer Care number again (didn’t call Mr Amol as he thinks he owns LG and to Pune Service centre number because I had no intention of getting another headache) & insisted that I want to talk to senior person who is more responsible and has authority.

Then spoke to Mr JAGTAP the floor supervisor. After talking to him for 15 minutes he gave assurance that the matter will be solved by the end of the day and he’ll give call by 6pm.

NO COMMUNICATION was done in the evening

Tuesday, 6th September

No respone till now. I would liketo ask some questions:

· Is this the way LG company works?

· Why it takes so long to deliver parts from Noida to the other parts of the city?

· Will any action be taken against those who don’t perform their duties and harass customers?

· And whether my machines problem will be solved and if yes how much time will be required?

· Whom should I contact to get my machine cleaned?

· Most importantly why there is no communication from LG side ever.
