Faulty auto defrosting

I bought a double door refrigerator LG / model GL368yvq G5 on 19/2 .for some time the auto defrosting was not working for which i complained number of times. now i realised that the refrigerator installed to me was model GL365yvqg5.this refrigerator is a lower model.secondly it's auto defrosting is not working.
