I bought a LG refrigerator the model of which is LG REF GL-528YTX4 on 10-05 at a cost of Rs. 42200/- from Shalimar Marketing (Invoice No. 322), Jalandhar with high hopes. On 14-06 I lodged a complaint with the customer service regarding the non-cooling of the ref. section and the complaint number wasC1061401315. The very next day the service engineer came and he replaced the fan unit meant for circulation of cool air. Even after that the problem persisted and after the telephonic talk with the engineer the refrigerator was given a water bath on 16-06-10, and the reason given for the same was that the duct was choked with ice. After that the cooling was satisfactory. Again the same problem has surfaced today (30-060 and a complaint has been lodged.
This repeated occurence of the same problem within a fortnight is very annoying and asks for a permanent solution at the earliest. In case the problem is bound to occur time and again, the product may be replaced.
