I have an LG Trom front loading fully automatic Washing Machine which is approx 5 yrs old. In October I noticed that the upper hinge of the door was cracked and lodged a complaint with the helpline on 11th October vide my complaint No. 310A1102266 and a technician came to inspect the same. He said that only the hinge is not replaceable, but the entire door has to be replaced. We told him to order the same, which he said would take 3-4 days. Regretably, its more than a month and the company has not bothered to give me any response to my order. I have been making repeated enquiries for the same, but no one bothers to call back about the status. Have been calling the service centre in Goa, but they just don't answer the telephone. Now the hinge has broken completely and the door is hanging open. Today after a heated confrontation with Mr. Arun, I was told that the part is not available at their Pune depot. How can such a thing be possible? and what were they doing all this time? Can a customer be handicapped just for a hinge problem. The machine is working perfectly and has never given me any problem, but just a hinge can be such a big problem with the company? The machine is just 5 years old and spares are not available??? I also suggest that you instruct your service staff to be more efficient and to answer every telephone number that exists with them. I demand immediate response and action to my complaint. Enough is enough!
