Hi,
I had purchased a LG Slim flat screen television 29 inch Model no: 29FU6RG-T5 on the 5th April.
Around 1.5 month back our TV was not starting normally so I contacted customer care and launce and complain. I have lodged a complaint (Complaint ID - 110228006199) with the customer care center on the 28st of Feb.
After 3-4 days service executive came and checked the TV and told us that there is an defect in Transformer and removed that part very roughly and told that will replace that part in 1-2 days.
We contacted on customer care after 3 days than they replied that parts have not come from Delhi, as soon as parts will come they will replace the parts. Than after some days service man came and again checked the TV and replied that transformer is ok and coil is defective which is on picture tube, so need to change picture tube, which will cost us around 7000Rs.
I don’t understand how come a person cannot identify problem by removing and checking parts at once and on every checking they tell us different problem with high cost. I contacted my dealer from where I purchased the TV he told me that he had talked with Mr. Swapnil who is head for andheri to dahisar reagion in Mumbai. He told that he can provide us with discount upto 25% for that picture tube. I had explain him the whole problem and told him that I am sure that some mistake had occurred by service man only while checking and removing the part but he is not interested to listen our problem and put forward to higher authority.
So I thought I can mail you the whole case and leave up to you what can be done to my problem. As for 15000 TV it doesn’t make any sense to incur another 5000rs.
I think its not justified and you need to take some action as from last 1 1/5 month my TV is not working. I hope ill get good response from your side as this my last option where I can try to get proper decision.
