I would like to register a complaint that the most advertised model of Micromax i.e. Q55 also known as BLING is just a problematic handset.
I purchased that handset for my wife on 2nd of july and it white in color. On its 1st day itself its screen went white completely and we could not see anything.i took the handset to the dealer and he exchanged it for me for another white handset. Later black color came in market and we exchange for black handset paying 1500 bucks extra.
After about 15 days again this new black Q55 started having display issues. The display used to go blank white and at times used to show lines on it. I took it to authorised service center and saw that about 5-6 Q55 with same display issues.
It seems this model has major display issues as when i got my handset checked the service center in THANE named MAXCOM info me that there is wait time of 3-4 weeks for this handset to be repaired as they are awaiting part to replace within handset. The service center said to me clearly that they have about 50-60 handsets of Q55 waiting for this replacement.
I think it is absolutely unfair to advertise a faulty handset and also sell it in huge quantity when you know u cant replace parts of the handset
I am waiting now for almost 15-18 days and still no update about the part and now even service center is not answering calls What to do? Please help
