Pathetic Sevice Care Centre

Nokia Service centre is not worth it...

I purchased one Nokia dual sim C1-00 mobile phone. To increase the safety of my phone I activated the Security lock code..feature... Unfortunately the new code which I set was not memorable to me any more... I tried many many times with various permutations and combinations and un fortunately I cannot retreive the New Code...

At last I took my brand new Phone to Nokia Service centre and they said that they would charge another Rs.150/- for unlocking my device. They said that they would have to refresh the software..Shockingly the Nokia Care told that For Rs.150/- they are not going to issue any bill/invoice or Money Receipt..I produced my purchase invoice and requested to do it free of charge since it was under warranty, but they did not heed to it..

Interestingly, to be noted that another customer (who was of course unknown to me) came with a complaint that his Nokia x1-01 is hanging now and then... and that since his mobile was under warranty he demanded to refresh the software free of charge... The Nokia Customer care technicians thoroughly examined the phone for 10 mins or so and found that the soft ware was not hanging and the phone worked absolutely normal... But, this customer was a hard nut to crack and boldly insisted to refresh the software and to my utter surprise the Nokia Care people did the refreshing of software as demanded by the customer and they never Charged any money for it...

If I had also told them to refresh my software on pretext of "Software Hanging problem" my problem too would have been solved Free of charge!!! I suffered because I told the truth..;..Is that what we expect in a Global Brand like Nokia?

Same problem when I encountered in Nokia mobile phones some 3 yrs back the Customer care center used to refresh the software free of charge but now things have changed enormously... They charge even if you breathe an extra air in their premises...

Any how I solved my problem in my own way... Guess how...?

I just refreshed my software at a non Nokia Care center at Rs.70/&-only and to my utter surprise the phone worked perfectly well from then onwards even though I serviced it at Non Nokia Centre... after one month I sold the phone and bought a Non Nokia hand set (It was Samsung Hero music an awe some phone). From that day onwards I have became an Anti Nokia Enthusiast... Whenever I meet any of my friends or relatives who want to purchase a New Mobile phone I always suggest them a Non Nokia cell phone..Happily one of my uncle bought a Samsung Primo instead of Nokia C500 and one friend of mine bought a Samsung 2230 instead of Nokia X1--01, solely on my hard persuasion... I took my revenge by persuading a couple of people to buy Samsung Instead of Nokia and I feel very very happy... That Nokia lost atleast two customer's... I continue to persuade as many people as possible to purchase Samsung or LG instead of Nokia... I would be really happy the day when Nokia would cease to be leading mobile phone brand of Indian market... and that day I will rejoice...

Nokia people have the most poor Customer Value perception... For them customer's value and satisfaction is of no matter... They know only money... Let's Defeat such cheats...
