I have recently bought a new Nokia phone - Model N79I, (IMEI 356044/03/142566/1) from a retail shop at Delhi. With in a Month, I realized a serious defect in it, which is presumably a manufacturing defect. The Display hangs often. I took it to the nearest Nokia Custmer care centre and they have admiited a fault in it. Further they told me the repair facilty is not available at our Sentor, it is to be sent to Head Office would take around 15 days. I gave them the phone It is now more than 20 days and am yet to get my phone. As they have not honor the committment, I am not comfortable with the response of the Customer care service.
I did not expect a new phone would be defective and also the Company takes such a long time to repair the phone. If they can't repair, they should at least replace the phone. I one again request the concnerned person at the Nokia H.O / Custmer care and see that my phone is repaired or replaced without any further delay.
