Nokia 5800 Expressmusic Bluetooth Application (Unable to Perform this request) and Radio Problem (Mobile gets hanged out once Radio option is selected in Music).
Nokia is a world leader in providing mobile of various types. But this company has a worst customer service in Pune. I purchased a Nokia 5800 Express Music model on 15th May from the nearest Mobile Store Shop. I loved this mobile because whatever functions and applications, i needed were present in this Mobile. My Mobile worked properly till 11th May. Suddenly, I was making my mobile ready for transferring a data to one of my friend and so started the Bluetooth Application. Its started giving me the error message "Unable to perform this action". I was shocked to see this failure. However, I was not able to set this up. So, I started searching on Google for this problem. I did everything possible which was been told on Nokia Forums and etc. Even I reset my mobile, to see if it works. But no changes. Then I started checking each and every application in my mobile. Then I found my Radio not working. So I planned to get it repaired from the nearest Nokia Care. I went to the Nokia Care Center on Pune-Satara Road. The address is Nokia Care, Adinath Shopping Center, 2nd Flr, Pune Satara Road, Pune, Maharashtra 400037 Phone No.020 3042 0635. Mobile: 098 24 020230 (Mobile). This information is as per the Google Maps. I went there. My Mobile was taken for service. The lady there offered me for the Free Extended Warranty. I was ready to pay for the extended warranty. The amount was Rs. 565/-. She also told me that the mobile is not in warranty and its expired. So, I was ready to make with the charges they were going to apply for the service. I asked her about the amount they were going to charge me for the service. On hearing that amount, I was just shocked to hear that. The amount for repairing the mobile for just Bluetooth Problem and Radio Problem was Rs. 3800/-. I asked her whether she is making a joke of me. I was just shocked to hear it. Rs. 3800/- I asked her to get my mobile back and then I returned home. So, now this issue is like taking a huge amount of money for small small problems. How can we keep faith in Nokia, If this company is charging huge amount of money from the customers whose problems are small. We can understand if the problem is big but here is something different. I want some decision on this by Nokia. Nokia has to overcome this issue. Secondly, how the people in this service center provide service. They don't even care about customers sitting outside. Some employees playing on their mobiles, some roaming here n there. Some talking on phone leaving their work. What can a Customer expect from such a service center.
