Mobile sent for repairing for 5 times for 20 days each

Dear Sir,

I have purchased Nokia C6 handset on 03.11.2010 in Diwali from Bhandara Nokia Priority Gallery. Soon after 4-5 days mobile started hanging and thereafter switching off automatically. I showed to Priority gallery and he told to show in nokia care and it cant be replaced at his shop and nokia care will decide it. I was on leave at that time for Diwali. I am working in Raigad district at Nagothane. There is no nokia care here nearby. So i went to nokia care vashi for the same. They checked the handset there and told me that it has to be sent to their head office for reparing purpose and i received the phone nearly after 15-20 days. After i left the nokia care soon after half an hour the problem was the same, switching off automatically. Again i went same nokia care then again they sent it for 15-20 days. This time they gave me the replaced one with different IMEA number but there was an cosmetic issue. The phone body was so dusty and dented and the screen was scratchy one without screen guard like the phone used one for more than a year. So again the handset was sent for 15-20 days. This time they gave me again the replaced handset with different IMEA number and the phone body was OK.

In the month of May-June this handset also started giving the problem with both touchpad and querty keypad. This time i went to the dombivali nokia care. They also checked and sent it for 15-20 days. Again in the month of July, the phone got switched off, not getting charged and and was not getting switched on. When shown to the dombivali nokia care, they again sent it for another 15-days and till date i did not receive the phone.

Each i time was given the basic nokia handset for temporary purpose on which i could not save my phone contacts. i could not use the internet properly. Although the handsome amount for the C6 handset, i have to use basic phone for 5 times that is almost for 3 months in last 9 months. I have to pay from my pocket each time as i have to travel from nagothane to mumbai (about 4 4 hr journey). Also my weekly offs/personal time i have to devote for this. And the unnecessary mental stress and headache is another one.

Since C6 handset is giving problem again and again. I propose Nokia should give me the different model of the same cost.

The handset is under warrenty period hence i did not have to pay yet in nokia care apart from my travelling expenses. But once the warrenty period is over they will ask for repairing charges also.

I have already put complaint on nokia customer care number for the new model.

This time if i receive the same C6 model. i am not going to accept this time. I am very frustrated. Please help me out in this regard. Otherwise I have No option but to go in consumer court.

Earlier i had used nokia N70 for 3 yrs hence i had a good impression of nokia. But this time it is deteriorated completely.
