I bought your Nokia E-51-1 from Wavetel Communications, Chennai on 05.12.2008 with IMEI No.35899701528554 Code 0558469 WLAN 001E3A081079. Within 1 month from the date of purchase the Mobile developed software problems which was sorted out by your Nokia Care Kodambakkam M/s. Raksha Impex after a delay of nearly 20 days.
After nearly 1 & half years of purchase, the Mobile suddenly started getting heated while charging & when I tried to open the back door it was so hard & after great struggle when opened I saw the Battery was bulged than usual size.
When I again tried to switch on the Mobile both with the same battery & a new battery, nothing worked out & it was totally dead. When I handed over the Mobile to one of your Nokia Care centres, I was told that it can't be repaired(?) & even if repaired, I will be charged an amount equivalent of a new Mobile (Rs.11, 450/-?). They even collected back the Job Card & refused to give the Service Report when I insisted for it.
I wonder how this can happen to a mobile like Nokia E51 - that too within 1 and half years of purchase. I am facing a heavy loss due to malfunction of this mobile. I request you to kindly replace / reimburse me with the same model (even seconds) or equivalent version failing which I will have to get it tested in a private service centre & submit reports to Consumer Court for a remedy.
