Dear Sir,
I have purchased Nokia Mobile Phone handset of Model/Make Nokia C 3 on 17.11.2010 vide Bill No.6877 for Rs 5, 600/- from Mobile Link, G -2, Ground Floor, Savithri Market, Sector -18, Noida -201 301, Uttarpradesh, India.
Nature of Complaint is that ;handset gets automatically switched off when recieve calls, SMS etc'. The matter was reported to dealer and, he sent his person to Nokia Care (Service Centre) along with set accompanied by me.
The Service Centre could not rectify the complaint and subsequent they advised to deposit the handset with Nokia for repair, which will take minimum further 7 days. JOB sheet also issued to me under ref No.234433527/101119/39 dt 19th Nov at 15.40. Remarks in JOB SHEET is that"NEED TO SEND THE HANDSET FOR HIGHER LEVEL REPAIR'.
I requested the service centre to advice the dealer to issue a new set as my handset us very new. They denied my request and the customer has no option but to deposit the handset in Service Centre.
One side Nokia claims they are having a full fledged R & D and QC and they are delivering the defect Handset to their customers and on the other side their Service Cenre gives in writing in their job sheet that '.NEED TO SEND THE HANDSET FOR HIGHER LEVEL REPAIR'. What a paradox?
I will be filing a Complaint in Consumer Court in India shortly.
