I am Shruthi, I purchased Nokia N8 handset on 11/02 based on my satisfactory experience with Nokia Products prior to that.
On 12/02 my handset suddenly got switched off, surprisingly the very next day of the warranty due date.
Today that is on 15/02, i went to a Nokia Care near by and handed over the mobile for service. I was said the service charges should be bared by me.
Unfortunately there is no extension of warranty service even for a week in Nokia. This is a sad part.
Later i got to know the issue is with battery and i will have to replace the same. I had been a very satisfied customer for Nokia from past 5-6 years for now. Moreover Nokia N8 had been one of the best products of Nokia. Seriously not able to understand why there had been a problem of such within such a short spam.
Is there any chances of me getting a better battery free of cost please let me know.
