Dear Nokia people/manager: i am a doctor in the govt sector who happens to be a owner of Nokia 5233 set which i purchased from a Nokia care store from Guwahati about one and half years ago. it was working fine till about six months back when for no reason the audio jack refused to work and the music was always being played on the loudspeaker. then since about past one month the phone just stopped receiving any signals and was always in offline mode. i went to the Nokia repair center in Jodhpur where they said that the 'IC network' is not functional and they promptly gave the set back to me saying quoting that as the piece is not under guarantee thus nothing could be done. I find it heartbreaking for having such a treatment meted out by Nokia company who hire such irresponsible people who cannot even repair a handset, while i am ready to shell out the due amount for repairs. Is it not the responsibility of the Nokia company who sell its product in India to get there handsets repaired in case of such problems. is that not what is the meaning of 'after sales service'. shame on you Nokia and i do expect some response or help to tackle the lackadaisical attitude of the company.
