Phone doesnt catch network

I have purchased the dual sim phone of nokia. nokia x1. this remains out of coverage most of the times. even when the network shown is full if i try to call my no from other no it tells the number is out of coverage area. basic feature of connectivity is not provided to me. my contact no is 7709605794. i hope you should be able to connect to me.
