I bough O General Air conditioner On October 24th, after installation I went abroad and came back to christmas holiday on 24th. On 24 I switched on my unit it is not working. I made a complaint on 26th. Mechanic came inspected the unit and confirmed that PC board is not working, and they confirmed that they will replace the same. I told them this is the second time I am using this A/c why this problem, he simply told me they can't give any assurance for electronic items
I requested him, I have a warranty period, hence i told him to replace the same. after I sent a mail to O general customer care. they not even bother about my complaint. Finally I personally went there and met the manager and requested about my problem. He also simply said they will replace that particular parts and refuse to replace the unit. I asked him i have warranty period so, you can do this service, what about after warranty period, For that also he said after warranty period, as per the appicable charge we have to pay and do the service
My simple thinking is I bought this O general product only two months back. Why they refuse to replace the product and what can a customer do now for bought a non functioning product. I really feel I wasted around Rs.35000/- for this non working Air conditioner.
Pls help us to replace the unit or warranty extension of this particular unit, because this unit is not working with in two months
