Poor service centre accuses of customer damaging the product

I purchased Olympus E620 last year. After using it for 7 months, it stopped working and gave it to service centre on December. It's been over 2 months now and service centre is not giving me updates about my camera. Please note the camera sat through the rest of the warranty period. Today when I called them they said the camera is with Olympus India and they said that customer (me) have opened the camera and damaged it.

This has shocked me. Why would I open my own camera and damage it. I am a middle class family man. Investing close to INR 35K being in India is a hell lot of money and something I would not risk with.

If Olympus continues to do such bad business they will never be number 1. I will now start aggressive negative campaign against Olympus, since I feel humiliated, cheated and taken a ride for.
