I am Vivek from Chennai. I am working with a IT firm here in Chennai. I Purchased a ONIDA 29'' oxygen Color TV (Model # : 10290XFS, SL.No # : 4029486) some 3 yrs back. Its been under AMC (Annual maintenance scheme) for last 2 yrs. For a last one year, I am having frequent troubles with my TV. Recently my TV went completely dead, I Lodged a complaint (complaint # 10091165380058) on September 15 at Adonis Electronics PVT LTD, a authorized onida service center. After 2 weeks of my complaint, a service person (Vishnu Vardhan) from adonis electronics came to our home and inspected the TV. He said that there is a problem with the TV's Main board and took away the board for repairing it. Now its been almost a month and half, I have'nt heard back from the service center. I have called up the service center's customer care and have told them about this. They are saying your request is in progress and will be completed as soon as possible but for almost 3 weeks i getting this answer from them. I purchased onida TV because of its reliability. But if the service is too poor like this and i am having frequent troubles with Onida, How would i likely to be purchasing a Onida appliance in future. I request the service center to Fix my TV as earlier as possible. Its almost going to be 2 month, I am sitting at home with out my TV.
