I purchased a Afton treadmill for Rs.22, 000/-. While selling their product through exhibition in Chennai Trade Centre They promised and canvassed of good service, durability of the treadmill. But from my experience we are not able to use it, because if we use it regularly for around one week either there will be a circuit board fault for which every time the service person will charge Rs.1500/- or for IC change also they will charge the same otherwise the motor will fail. So till we make up our mind to shell further money it will lie as a dead wood occupying space. And trying to sell it to get rid of it the company offers only around Rs.3000 to Rs.4000 that even for exchange buying one similar such machine for around Rs.30000 to Rs.50000. So my misadventure of purchasing Afton treadmill to reduce my tummy and keep fit reduced my saving and increased my tension. As average i have used it yearly for around 5 to 15 days only. Finally I paid Rs.750 to afton service not to use it but junk it. Any company should satisfy customer not themselves.
