I recently purchased a 320 ltr LG refrigerator from Pai Electronics (Mangalore, Bunt's Hostel outlet) for my parents. They had a sale underway and hence we decided to avail of a better price. We paid Rs.20, 500/- (incl of delivery charge of Rs.150) against a quoted price of Rs.23, xxx/- We were told that this is the best that we would get anywhere.
3 days later my father happened to enquire about the price of the same model at another shop (which did not have any sale/offer going on). Despite there being no sale/offer, the rate quoted was Rs.19, 700/- (incl of delivery). This clearly shows that Pai Electronics is cheating its customers by not just overcharging them but also floating bogus schemes/sales.
I would warn each and every potential buyer to stay away from this so-called reputed chain of electronic stores. Or atleast take the trouble of comparing rates at other outlets before actual purchase.
