I bought a panasonic 1.5 ton split airconditoner on 2 feb. on installation, i found out that it does not run on generator. since then, pansonic service engineers have come 4 times to check the machine, but couldnt solve the problem. since our locality has frequent power outages, a machine that does not work on generator is useless, since half the time there is no electric supply. a panasonic engineer even called from delhi and told us that their acs dont run on generators. couldnt they have specified this when we were buying it? we sure wouldnt have bought it then!!
