Dear Sir,
Today (23-May) I had lunch at this hotel called Shree Bhavan (Banergatta Road), were I happen to see that the chef melt-open the oil packets in the hot oil in a big thava, instead of cutting and pouring it. Surprisingly about one third of the plastic oil packet which is dipped into the hot oil has melted away in the hot oil. In spite of notifying the cashier about the wrong doing right away, he pretended not to notice it. The food items prepared out of this oil could literally be coated with the plastic. Will the authorities take necessary action? Like me there are hundreds of my colleagues who eat the same food believing that the quality is good. We do not complain about the cost, but we do not like to eat food items that are coated with plastic.
