Inconsiderate Time Consuming Money Fleecing Blabbering Doctor - Beware

Hi

I visited Dr. Sangeetha Madhu for my 3 yr old daughter... we went into her private clinic at 12 noon and came out at 5.30 evening. We saw her just for 15 mins and that too was a waste of time... and she charged INR 1000/- with no receipt. We didnt even have lunch, including my 3 yr old kid. But the doctor along with her receptionist and two junior doctors ordered from Saravana Bhavan and had a relaxed lunch break of at least an hour!!!

She didnt do any testing simply talked to us smoothly and didnt tell us anything new that we already know and confused us more.

What is more annoying is that

(a) she attends personal calls when she is with us (chitchats and makes jokes with friends and doesn't even try to make an effort to cut short the call) and also

(b) she and her assistant are discussing a very personal case of a teenage girl in front of us (about the girl's boyfriend, her sexual relationship, her strained relationship with her parents, her parents carelessness... my God)

I was truly astounded by her lack of professionalism and service.

Then she gave a report (after a week) which was just a summary of all the information we had given with nothing new / no conclusions.

On seeing the report, when we asked a few questions, she started yelling and finding fault with (blaming) us, saying that we were not right in doubting her (by asking her questions?!) and that we had not collected the report on time (what would happen to a report that was ready, if it rested with her for a few days is still a mystery to me. We collected the report after 10 days instead of 7 days)... etc. etc.

Since we were already under a lot of pressure regarding our daughters health, we decided to let the matter drop, as the doctor didnt even recognise the crisis in the first place.

If you are considering her for a consult, please don't waste your time and money...
