I was suddenly in need to know my mother's blood group because she had to be given some blood.
So I referred to the website of MDIndia Healthcare services and logged in with her id no. expecting blood group information to be present in their portal. It was very shocking to find that this was not present in their portal nor in the soft copy of the insurance card.
As consumer I expect basic details of the policy holder to be available at the portal of a Health Insurance company, so that emergency situations can be tackled in a systematic manner.
