I had submitted application stating that i want to surrender my policy no. 430270645 with the request that the surrender value be credited to my account.(22April)
I was told that it would take about 2 weeks for the cheque to come by.
I received a call from Gurgaon office (10th May) wanting to know the reason for my decission to surrender the policy and I told them that it was due to an emergent problem that had arisen. I was assured that the cheque would be dispatched immediately and would reach me in 3 to 4 days.
However it is almost 4 weeks now and I am to know from Operations division MNYL Guwahati, Assam that the cheque is yet to be dispatched.
I would like to bring to your notice that apart from being an agent advisor I am also HNI client.
I am surprised and angered at the lethargic and non chalant manner in which the organization has handled the matter, so much so, that I have a strong urge to refrain from paying any further renewals and also surrender the remaining policies i hold in the organization.
I am awaiting an explanation as to why this delay has been caused.
